As always, we had a great time at the NADA show in Las Vegas. From live demonstrations to in-depth conversations, the Proton booth had it all. Attendees got an up-close look at real-world scenarios, live threat detection, and hands-on activities showcasing what dealerships face, and everything it takes to stay one step ahead of the cybercriminals.
The SOC on Display
We could have gone to NADA and simply talked about
cybersecurity in theory. The conversations would’ve been insightful, but talking can only do so much. Seeing is believing, and that’s why we brought the
Security Operations Center to Las Vegas.
The SOC is the command hub used by our experts to keep dealerships safe 24/7/365. Attendees had the opportunity to see it in action, experiencing firsthand how Proton monitors and stops threats before they turn into disruptions.
Cyber Siege
We also introduced our new boardgame, Cyber Siege! This interactive experience challenged attendees to uncover the danger of hidden threats and the importance of strong cybersecurity partnerships.
Breach Cards represented real-world threats and served as a reminder of how quickly risks can build up. Proton Tokens served as the safeguards your dealership already had in place, or the safety net a cyber partner could provide. Rolling the dice proved how dangerous it truly is to leave dealership cybersecurity up to a game of chance.
In the end, the game showed how a real-life partner provides 24/7/365 monitoring with human analysis, helps detect and address vulnerabilities before they become a problem, and streamlines your security operations, so you can focus on your dealership.
Interviews at the Booth
In addition to live demonstrations and hands-on experiences, NADA gave us the opportunity to have meaningful conversations about the current cybersecurity landscape.
Our Chief Information Security Officer, Sean Patronis, spoke with AutoSuccess and More Than Cars about what dealerships are facing today and the practical steps they can take to stay secure. These discussions reinforced a shared understanding. Cybersecurity works best when it’s proactive, visible, and supported by experts who know the dealership world.
Throughout our time in Las Vegas, a lot of insightful conversations were had. While each discussion was unique, many kept coming back to the same reality. Cyberthreats are increasing, and dealerships need protection that goes beyond tools and checklists.
It’s more important now than ever to ensure your business is protected by a cyber partner. If you’re ready to take the next step towards peace of mind for your dealership, Proton is here to help.
